Dr. Singh received his Master's Degree in Neurosurgery from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India in 1987. He further trained in Neurosurgery in England. Dr. Singh completed his general surgery internship and neurosurgical residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami, and did a Fellowship in Vascular and Skull Base Surgery with Dr. Roberto C. Heros. During his residency, Dr. Singh had extensive training with Dr. Barth A. Green in various aspects of Spine Surgery, including complex spine instrumentation and management of spinal cord injury at Miami project to cure paralysis. Dr. Singh is author to various chapters and articles in neurosurgical literature. He is presently working as an attending staff at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Interests include surgery for brain tumors; vascular malformations; cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine.
